Artists' Vertical Opposed Gradients

© 2011, Martin Rinehart

Vertical Opposed Gradients: Gradients with the colors varying from top down to the center, and then reversing back to the bottom. Great on their own, but use sparingly. If the colors are light they can back content. Commonly used for title bars and menu items.

Vertical opposed gradients can help make great impressions.

Impressionist painting, ballerina by Degas.
